Hourly Rate: $365.00 per party, per hour for preparation, mediation and any required follow-up. If there is more than one plaintiff, as long as their claims arise from the same set of facts and the plaintiffs are represented by the same lead counsel, the attorney will be invoiced as a single party. The same applies to situations in which there is more than one defendant as long as there is a shared defense and a single lead counsel. Each side is responsible for the payment of half the total mediation fee unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Please advise Adrienne if there are any agreements in this regard.

Minimum Time Charged: 5 hours plus preparation time.

Cancellation Fee: None if canceled with at least 7 days’ notice. A cancellation fee equal to 5 hours plus prep time may be charged if canceled with less than 7 days’ notice, absent exceptional or unforeseen circumstances.

Payment: This is the responsibility of the attorneys for each side who retain Adrienne’s services. An invoice will be emailed to counsel requesting that payment be made within 21 days of receipt. By participating in mediation, counsel agree to pay the invoice for services even if they have not yet invoiced and received payment from their clients for the cost of mediation. Payment of the mediation fee is never contingent on the outcome of mediation.
